CRANE & HOIST REPAIR — 24 Hours / 365 Days
Harriman Material Handling is a full-line material handling equipment dealer with a professional sales staff and a full product line to serve your material handling needs. We offer full service and total support including sales, installation, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
HMH service technicians are on call 24 hours a day to respond to your breakdown call. Regardless of the age or the manufacturer of your cranes, HMH will respond quickly 365 days a year. We will normally respond within 2 hours to emergency calls in our service area.
A trained and experienced service technician will respond to your call, diagnose the problem and repair the crane. If the problem cannot be corrected on the spot, then we will notify you of the solution and quickly obtain the parts needed to get your crane running.
HMH won't stop working until your crane is back in service.
CRANE SYSTEMS & SERVICE
Our approach to solving a new crane application is based upon our strong background in service. We understand the pain caused to an end user when the wrong crane system or components have been supplied. As a service company, we are sometimes called to fix the mistakes of other crane companies. It is important to carefully choose your crane supplier and make sure that they have your best interests in mind. We have been in business since 1962 and will be around long after the initial sale in order to support your purchase.
In proposing a new crane system, we begin by performing a needs analysis and site survey. After we understand your application and processes, we will provide a solution for you in a detailed proposal. The component equipment manufacturers that we recommend in our proposal will be based upon the most feasible equipment on the market for your specific application.
INSPECTION PROGRAMS & PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
HMH service technicians know cranes inside and out. Our years of experience with equipment similar to yours helps to identify and repair the "weak links" in your equipment that could eventually lead to an unnecessary breakdown and expensive downtime.
HMH can provide you with a P.M. program to fit according to the application and environment for your equipment. We combine safety and OSHA inspections with lubrication and adjustment of mechanical parts such as brakes and limit switches. Worn parts are identified to allow you time to purchase new parts and replace them when production allows.
Our preventive maintenance programs can be custom tailored to the needs of your equipment and production. The programs will help maintain the investment in your overhead crane and hoisting equipment, as well as improve your production and plant safety.
From simple quarterly service on a few pieces of equipment to complete full-time on-site maintenance partnerships in facilities with hundreds of cranes, HMH can do it all!
OPERATOR TRAINING
We provide operator training for our employees and for our customers. Classes are held on-site at your facility. All of our classes and courses are taught by experienced instructors and are held in an interactive atmosphere to give operators hands-on experience. Testing, where applicable, is performed to gage the effectiveness of the class training and to provide documentation of performance. We can also provide customized training for special customer needs and general safety overview presentations as a review for your trained operators.
