Inspector Training

Crane Inspector Certification

Next Course: September 24 & 25, 2024

We provide this Inspector Training course so you can improve safety and ensure regulation compliance.

Our courses are offered on site at your location or at our facility in Morristown, Indiana. Courses can be taught on any shift, for your convenience. The hands-on portion of the class can be customized to focus on the type of equipment, control types, and loads being handled specific to your operations.

Course Overview:

  • Why employees should be trained, informing attendees of the importance and their role in crane operation.
  • OSHA requirements
  • Proper crane operation (in class and hands-on)
  • Hoist/crane daily inspections and checklist
  • How to avoid/prevent overhead crane wire rope failures
  • Radio controlled crane safety and hand signals
  • Do’s/Don’ts of hoists and cranes
  • Proper sling & Below the Hook device operation (hands-on)

About the Course

Our standard operator training course is 4-6 hours depending on the number of participants and the amount of time required/requested to complete the hands-on portion of the training. Class times can be modified and topics can be customized.

Train the Trainer

Crane Operator Trainer Certification

Next training course: September 26 & 27, 2024

With our Crane Operator Trainer Certification, “Train the Trainer,” course, you’ll gain the certification to be able to teach others how to operate cranes. In this hands-on course, you will learn best practices for instructing trainees in safety, maintenance, and operations.

*As this particular training course is not offered on a regular basis, please be sure to reach out to us if you are interested in becoming a crane operator trainer.
