Harriman Material Handling, a full-service material handling company that specializes in in overhead cranes and hoists, is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Inside Sales team to help support our growing business.
Essential duties and responsibilities of our Customer Service Representatives:
- Receive and respond to customer requests via phone and email
- Use portals and price sheets to obtain pricing and info for suppliers and contractors
- Prepare quotes for parts, equipment and/or service, following up as necessary
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers/contractors
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Start jobs, then follow them through to completion
- Work with service and installation coordinators to schedule work at customers’ facilities
- General office duties, including answering the phone, filing, data entry, etc.
- Support outside sales staff in meeting customer needs
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to completing tasks correctly and on-time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Education and/or Experience
- Administrative experience (or experience in inside sales/customer service) preferred
